茶碗の輪郭や釉薬の質感を、衣服の造形と染色へ置き換えたテキスタイル作品。

茶碗の縁に生まれるわずかな歪みや丸みを、襟のラインとフリルの造形として再構成。
さらに、焼き物の表面に現れる釉薬の艶や盛り上がりを、発泡バインダーと光沢バインダーによる染色表現に置き換えました。

異なる素材や技法を介することで、器に宿る「形」と「質感」を、身体にまとうものへと変換しています。

Textile works that transpose the contours of tea bowls and the texture of their glazes into the shapes and dyeing of clothing.

The slight distortions and curves found along the rim of a tea bowl are reconfigured as the lines of collars and the shapes of ruffles. Furthermore, the luster and raised textures of the glaze appearing on the surface of the pottery are translated into dyeing techniques using foaming binders and glossy binders.

By employing different materials and techniques, the “form” and “texture” inherent in the ceramic vessel are transformed into garments worn on the body.
