紙を折ることで生まれる、折り目や立体感に着目し、日本の「折り紙」をバッグの表情へと置き換えました。
折り紙の構造をそのまま再現するのではなく、スモッキング刺繍によって布に凹凸をつくることで、折りによって生まれる陰影や質感を表現しています。
カジュアルな装いだけでなく、ビジネスシーンにも合わせられるよう、素材や形状はシンプルにまとめ、装飾と機能のバランスを意識したデザインです。

Focusing on the creases and three-dimensionality created by folding paper, we’ve reimagined the Japanese art of “origami” to give this bag its distinctive character.
Rather than simply replicating the structure of origami, we’ve used smocking embroidery to create texture on the fabric, thereby expressing the shadows and textures that result from folding.
The materials and shape have been kept simple so that the bag can be worn not only with casual outfits but also in business settings; the design strikes a balance between decoration and functionality.
