2011年3月11日、東日本大震災により多くの命が失われた。
この出来事は風化させてはならない。自然災害の恐怖、人間の尊さを思い知らされた。

津波の高さは、最高で16.7m観測された。（岩手県大船渡市）
海でない琵琶湖でもし大地震が起きた場合、最大３mの津波が起こると予測されており、
身近な美しい自然には、想像ができないほどの危険を孕んでいる。

津波の波が押し寄せて、さまざまなものが巻き込まれ、波にのまれ息が苦しくなる。

On March 11, 2011, the Great East Japan Earthquake claimed many lives.
This event must not be forgotten.
It taught us the terror of natural disasters and the preciousness of human life.

The highest tsunami wave recorded reached 16.7 meters (in Ofunato City, Iwate Prefecture).
Even Lake Biwa, which is not an ocean, is predicted to experience a tsunami up to 3 meters high if a major earthquake occurs there. The beautiful nature close to us harbors dangers beyond imagination.

As the tsunami wave surges in, it engulfs everything in its path, swallowing objects and making it hard to breathe.
